At Skippy’s we work in partnership with our families inspired by Reggio Emilio to guide our curriculum and planning for children’s learning. We understand that you know your child better than anyone and with this in mind we acknowledge that there would be no one better to support us with this information than you.
We strive to engage children in active learning, by identifying children’s strengths and interests, choose appropriate teaching strategies and design the learning environment. Our educators then assess learning to inform their further planning to ensure that children have fun, learn, play and discover during their time at Skippy’s

At Skippy’s, play-based learning is supported by highly trained early childhood educators who create an environment that encourages exploration, creativity and learning through play. Our educators recognise that each child is unique and has their own way of learning, so they provide a variety of play-based activities that cater to different learning styles.
Skippy’s provide an engaging and stimulating environment for children to learn through play. Through our play-based approach, we help children develop the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in school and in life.
